This Jamaican Key Lime Pie is one of my favorite Jamaican desserts. It is so simple to make, needs no cooking, and everybody loves it. The hardest part is grating the lime zest, and then squeezing the limes.
First of all lets make the base:
Now for the filling:
This is how I like it plain and simple, but you can decorate with cherries ... drizzle melted Chocolate ... or sprinkle anything you wish on top.
You can also play around with the quantities a little. Don't be afraid to experiment.
Less lime to soften the tartness. More lime to increase the tartness. More or less butter in the base. More cream or less condensed milk to lessen the sweetness.
And as I said this is a very popular dessert, so if you friends know you are making it they are going to come visiting.
Enjoy your Jamaican Key lime Pie ... and "Give Thanks".
