Whitfield Hall is a historic home situated on a working coffee estate in the Blue Mountains of Jamaica.

Whitfield Hall offers hostel rooms with bunkbeds and one private room with shared bath.

The house offers the best access to the hiking trail to Blue Mountain Peak. We can arrange guides for our guests to hike to the Peak and enjoy the incomparable sunrise.

Whitfield Hall and the coffee farm date to the late 1700s. The house is a historic building with no electricity.

Kerosene lanterns provide light, and a cheery fireplace makes for a warm gathering spot on evenings when it turns cool.

Guests are invited to bring provisions and cook for themselves, or they can arrange in advance for our staff to cook them delicious Jamaican meals.

We are located approximately 1 1/2 hours from Kingston by vehicle. We can arrange for drivers to pick up guests at Mavis Bank or other locations; check our website for rates.
